Sales Trainee

This traineeship gave me the opportunity to learn more about specialized companies like DDL. I was able to put into practice the knowledge gained through my studies, to give free rein to my creativity and to learn an incredible amount of new things. At DDL, I felt well supported and very much at ease – my expectations for my time here have definitely been surpassed.

I actively contributed to internal and external areas, including, for instance, process optimization, online marketing and offering support in customer meetings. This requires flexibility, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Apprenticeship for Media Design / Decor Designer

What I really value about my apprenticeship is that we are not just sitting in the office at our computer all day, but that we are always involved in ideas from the development stage until achieving the end product, and that we can take the initiative and make an active contribution. No two days are the same here, because we work in close cooperation with the customers and are therefore always creating something new. The concept of boredom just doesn’t exist for us!

Deputy Warehouse Manager

Just driving the forklift all day long? No, it’s the complete opposite here! Logistics at DDL are hugely diverse, which makes working here something special. I learnt a great deal during my apprenticeship and can now successfully make use of my knowledge as a deputy warehouse manager.

Daily tasks include receiving goods, commissioning and preparing outgoing goods, allowing me to carry out all warehouse management processes. Further tasks are office work, such as preparing freight documents or organizing internal transport. By communicating and cooperating with different departments at the company, the daily routine is always varied.

Are you focused on working in a team and with customers, practically minded and good at packing? If so, the warehouseman role is a great fit for you!

As a homegrown DDL employee, I was able to actively participate in the development of the company despite a turbulent period. As a result of close collaboration built up with our customers and suppliers, there is always scope for creative ideas that are made a success through the ability of our employees.

Thanks to the constant drive for improvement, the company has always supported me in carrying out my tradesman training, giving me the scope to put my knowledge into practice here in-house.
